Sweet Bonanza 1000 RTP on Duel: 96.53% in the base game, 96.50% with Double Chance (ante bet), 96.52% for the 100x Buy Free Spins and 96.55% for the 500x Buy Super Free Spins. The badge shows 96.55% — the top mode, 0.02 points above base play.
Rakeback: $1.55 accrued on $90.00 wagered across two blocks — the badge's prediction; a mode-dependent rebate would have shown $1.56. Status: Matched within displayed precision.
What it costs you: the rebate is 1.73% of turnover whichever mode you play; net edge 1.75% in the base game, 1.78% with Double Chance on, 1.73% on the 500x buy.
Session return: 72.2% — two blocks' result, not an estimate of anything.

What a 200-spin test can and cannot prove
Two hundred spins cannot measure a slot's RTP, and this page makes no such claim: on a 5/5-volatility game, short-session results are noise. What a short session can verify is the rakeback model — a deterministic 50% of the house edge credited on every settled paid wager, win or lose. This test went one step further than the others in the series: by splitting the block between two modes with different published RTPs, it could tell whether the rebate follows the mode you play or one flat figure. The full protocol is on the methodology page.
The badge and the game rules disagree — by 0.02 points
Duel's rakeback tooltip for Sweet Bonanza 1000 reads:
| Original RTP | 96.55% |
|---|---|
| Instant Rakeback | 50% |
| "Duel RTP" | 98.28% |
The tooltip is internally consistent — 96.55% plus half of the 3.45% edge is 98.28%. But the game's own rules page gives 96.53% for the base game; 96.55% is the Buy Super Free Spins figure, the highest of the four modes the game publishes. Two first-party sources on the same page, 0.02 points apart. It is small — on our $90.00 the base-game predictions differ by under a cent, and the ante/base mix we ran widens the gap to about a cent and a half — but it is exactly what this series exists to notice, and as the results show, the accrual followed the badge. "Duel RTP" is the interface's own aggregate of RTP plus rebate; we call that figure a conditional effective return, because the rebate accrues outside the game and has to be claimed.

How we tested
Starting balance $449.64, rakeback counter at zero. Two blocks through Duel's Hyperplay batch mode, back to back: 100 spins at $0.50 with Double Chance on, then 100 spins at $0.40 with it off — $90.00 of turnover in total. Ending balance $424.58, total winnings $64.94; the ledger reconciles to the cent: 449.64 − 90.00 + 64.94 = 424.58. Hyperplay's per-spin table is archived as evidence for both blocks.
Results: matched to the cent, on the badge model

| Turnover | $90.00 |
|---|---|
| Rakeback accrued | $1.55 |
| Expected (badge, RTP 96.55%) | $1.55 |
| Expected (active-mode RTPs, as tested) | $1.57 |
| Difference | $0.00 vs badge model · $0.01 vs active-mode display |
| Status | Matched within displayed precision · flat badge model |
One flat badge rate across both tested modes
Half the spins ran with Double Chance on. The information screen gives that mode a lower RTP — 96.50% against the 96.53% base — so a higher house edge. If rakeback tracked the mode you play, the accrual on those spins should have been higher; if it tracked one flat figure per game, it should not. What the counter showed was one flat rate: the total matched the badge's single figure, and a mode-dependent calculation would have over-predicted by about two cents — enough for the cent display to catch.
| Model | After block 1 | After both blocks |
|---|---|---|
| Flat badge rate (96.55% badge → 1.725% of turnover) | $0.8625 → displays $0.86 | $1.5525 → displays $1.55 |
| Active-mode edge (ante 96.50% / base 96.53%) | $0.8750 → displays $0.87 | $1.5690 → displays $1.56 |
| Actually displayed | $0.86 | $1.55 |
The cent display does not reveal the exact internal accumulator — the widget truncates — but the two models landed on opposite sides of a cent boundary, which is what made them distinguishable here. The practical takeaway cuts against the ante toggle: on Sweet Bonanza 1000, Double Chance raises the game's edge but does not raise your rakeback. If you play with rakeback in mind, base mode is the cleaner deal.
What it costs across the modes
| Mode | RTP | House edge | Rebate (from the badge) | Net edge |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Base game | 96.53% | 3.47% | 1.73% | 1.75% |
| Double Chance (ante bet) | 96.50% | 3.50% | 1.73% | 1.78% |
| Buy Free Spins, 100x | 96.52% | 3.48% | 1.73% | 1.76% |
| Buy Super Free Spins, 500x (the badge mode) | 96.55% | 3.45% | 1.73% | 1.73% |
The rebate is the same 1.73% of turnover in every mode, because it runs off the badge. The four modes sit within 0.05 points of each other after rakeback; the 500x buy is the only one that costs exactly what the badge implies, and it buys that parity with the variance of 500 spins in one purchase. Halved is still not cheap: a low-edge table game costs less. Whatever the mode, the cost is (edge − rebate) × turnover; the rakeback guide has the arithmetic for any game. Net edge is rounded to two decimals.
Session return: 72.2% — and why that is not an RTP measurement
The 200 spins paid back $64.94 on $90.00 wagered — a 72.2% session return, 62.9% in the first block and 83.8% in the second. An anecdote, not an estimate: it says nothing about the long-run RTP of Sweet Bonanza 1000. The useful part is the contrast: session results swung block to block, while the rakeback landed on its predicted value regardless. Accrual tracks turnover, not outcomes.
Limitations
One account, one date, USDT, with the 50% badge active — rates could differ by account, region or time, and Duel's terms can change after publication. The conclusions cover the accrual formula only, not session outcomes. The 96.55/96.53 discrepancy is documented, not explained: we can say which figure the accrual followed, not why the two sources disagree. Cent-level data cannot recover the exact internal rate or distinguish every pair of nearby RTP figures; in this test the two models happened to land on opposite sides of the widget's cent boundary.
Verdict
On this account, on this date, Sweet Bonanza 1000 accrued instant rakeback at the badge's flat rate across both tested blocks — matched to the cent across two stakes and two game modes. The $1.55 claim credited straight to the main balance, the next test in the series opened on exactly that reconciled amount, and claimed rakeback was later withdrawn with no wagering requirement. The advertised number checks out. The footnote worth remembering: the badge and the game rules quote RTPs 0.02 points apart, and the money follows the badge.
